There are various types of accommodation available in Nepal. From deluxe hotels to huts. Tourists have number of choices. The choice depends on the alternatives provided by tour operators of Nepal. I am writing accommodations available in some of the most popular tourist spots. I will continue in upcoming write ups.

Pokhara, a valley, popularly known as city of lakes. Fewa, Begnas & Rupa are the three most popular lakes in Pokhara. Everyone can enjoy the wonderful image of Annapurna mountain range, the most popular virgin mountain Fishtail (Machhapuchhre in Nepali) in Fewa lakes in good weather & have a nice boating in calm water. Lots of hotels are available in lake sides, some nice resorts outskirts of the city.
Chitwan, popular for jungle activities has mostly resorts in & outside the jungle. In this flat land you can enjoy the Elephant safari & jeep safari in jungle, camel ride, bullock cart ride. You will be lucky to see Royal Bengal tiger, one horn rhino, the rarest animal in the world. In most of the resorts, you can enjoy the flavor of local tharu culture - an indigenous group of Southern Nepal.
Lumbini, the birth place of Gautam Buddha, has various types of hotels to Dharmashala (Accommodation for pilgrimage). Ashok pillar, with number of stupas and monasteries of various countries with typical architectures are the main attractions of this place. Meditation in this place gives a peace in mind.
Palpa, a hill station in western Nepal has home stay to budget, standard and one 3 star hotel. This place is famous for Handicraft Karuwa a water vessel and Handloom Palpali Dhaka. Rani Mahal Durbar at Ranighat is another ancient palace polularly known as Taj Mahal of Agra, India is situated at the bank of Kali gandaki river from where one can start rafting.
