Buddha was born in Nepal.

It is universal truth that Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal. "Lumbinī is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama. Siddhartha Gautama lived roughly between 623 and 543 BCE and he founded Buddhism." Wikipedia

This truth should not be brought in to the controversy. But from time to time we Nepali face such controversy from Indian media. This time this attack was from Indian Zee TV serial, Buddha. The serial hurt the heart of Nepali people by such a fake message and controversial serial. There were millions of Nepali viewer for its various serials. This accident, I would say, will definitely loose the viewers from Nepal. Sorry, Zee TV.

Our humble request is to please make immediate correction in the serial and do not play dirty game on faith and belief of Buddhist and Nepali people.

Buddha was born in Nepal. We repeat, Buddha was born in Nepal. It is Nepal and it will be always in Nepal. Make correction, it is not late. Get your respect Zee TV.
