"Yes ! we need brand. But we do have already established brand." said a pioneer hotelier in Nepal. I was surprised. To establish a brand, you need a continuous effort in branding and it should not be stopped as far as I understand. Having good brand today does not mean that you will have it always in future too. In today's competitive market you should go with the latest technology. Lot of yesterday's brand disappeared now a days due to their incompatible reviews on their own brands. Similarly, we see lot of brands have merged in big brands and come up with new brands.
So, we should be very careful for continuous brand building with strong message or tagline or statements and image, logo, color, font etc which should be carried out in each and every promotional materials, no matter whether it is audio, visual or printed material. You, and your staff should understand the value of your brand and talk in same line without hesitation, with pride.
Lots of corporates have started contracting brand ambassadors for some period, but they are just for their pride. And I see lot of brand ambassadors are unaware of their brand duty for the company. Wearing a T-shirt for few days is not branding.
Anyway, have fun with your brand and feel proud with your brand.
